• To update the software, you need to have access to the Internet.

• Log on as a user with Administrator privileges.

Mac OS

• To update the software, you need to have access to the Internet.

• Log in as a user with Administrator privileges.

To check the updates automatically

If you enable updates to take place automatically in ScanSnap Online Update, you can check the latest updates, notification, and available software programs regularly.

Proceed with the update of a software as you follow the instructions.

To check the updates immediately

You can manually check whether a newer version of the program is available.

Windows

1. Display the Main Window of ScanSnap Home.

   For details, refer to To Display the Main Window.

2. Select [Help] → [Online update (check for updates)] on the menu to check whether a newer version of the program is available.

3. If a newer version of the program is available, update the software by following the instructions.

Mac OS

1. Display the Main Window of ScanSnap Home.

   Click the [ScanSnap Home] icon in the application list that appears when you click Launchpad in the Dock.

2. Select [Help] → [Online update (check for updates)] on the menu bar to check whether a newer version of the program is available.

3. If a newer version of the program is available, update the software by following the instructions.
